Ethan is now 3 days old..

Ethan is doing great! He is such a blessing. He is now 3 days old. All the children take their turn holding him, so he certainly doesn't "want" for attention. So here are so "more" pictures...

Here are my youngest "six"...Kaleb was at a friend's house.

Christians Must Vote...Says Who?

"Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty – as well as the privilege and interest – of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."

- John Jay (1745-1829), Original Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court

"The people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities….If the next centennial does not find us a great nation…it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces."

- Rev. James A. Garfield (1831-1881), United States President, Minister of the Gospel

Seth New Bike!

This post is for Grandpa Ken and Grandma Dot. They had me pick up a new bicycle for Seth's birthday today. Here are a couple of videos.

Seth looks a little wobbly on his first ride, but he stays on!

Seth's Birthday!!!

Seth Kendrick Anderson is 6 years old today. He is a wonderful son and a real blessing to his parents. We praise God for his life, and thank the Lord for bringing Seth into our family. Seth is a strong worker, a good friend, very affectionate and yet a real man's man (boy:)! Seth also lost his first tooth yesterday, so he is really growing up!

These pictures were taken last week while Seth was outside helping his mom water her plants. He is always willing to help!

"I love you son...Happy Birthday!!!"

So much to say...

It has been too long...I am well aware...so much to say...

We finally moved back in our new home and we absolutely love it!!! We feel so blessed to have a beautiful finished home. We moved back in around the end of February...and just about that time we found out that we we're expecting our 7th child. The blessings of the Lord abound!

Heather is now 18 weeks pregnant and doing well. She just had her "midwife" appointment this past Tuesday and the baby's heartbeat was strong.

Also my parents were just up for a visit this past week. They hadn't been up here since Kaylee was born, so it was so nice to have them. We stayed in Spokane for a couple of nights and were able to see the Lilac festival parade downtown. Afterwards, mom and dad came up north to see our new home. Across the river, from our community, is an organic vineyard, so one day we went there. My mom and I even spent an afternoon together up in Canada.

Obviously there is much more to say but these are some of the highlights.

Here are some pictures of our visit together.

More Pictures from Hawaii

We had such a great time in Hawaii that I had to post a few more pictures from our trip.

These pictures were taken at Secret Beach on the island of Kauai. In order to get to this beach you had to hike down a pretty steep path, but the advantage is that there were only a few people on this beautiful beach. It was truly picturesque! There was a beautiful view of a lighthouse and we were able to watch the sun go down. It was a very special day!

Pictures from Hawaii

We just arrived back in Oahu and we will be disembarking off the ship. We had a wonderful time! It was great weather and we really enjoyed spending time with our family. The picture with Kaylee is her cousin Noah Anderson (my brother Kenny's youngest). They were all dressed up for the formal dinner. Don't they look good?

Heather and I fly home tonight and we are really looking forward to seeing the our children at home!!!

Aloha and Happy New Year!!!

It has been a while since my last post, but I wanted to say Happy New Year and Aloha!!! Heather and I, Kenny and Liisa, and Dad and Mom are all in Honolulu, Hawaii. We arrived last night. It is sunny and 71 degrees. When we left yesterday it was snowing at home...so we are thoroughly enjoying the good weather.

If you have never been to Hawaii, I would encourage you to set it as a goal. It is sure beautiful. We are getting ready to go to Pearl Harbor, and then we will be boarding our cruise ship this afternoon. Our first stop will be Kona, Hawaii (which is on what the locals call the "Big Island.")

Here are some pictures of our hotel that we stayed at last night. I took these pictures from our balcony off our room this morning.
